Fondation Horizons Nouveaux

SIGNATURE OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MINISTRY OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS AND THE HORIZONS NOUVEAUX FOUNDATION

On Wednesday August 14, 2024, the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Fondation Horizons NOUVEAUX, represented by its Managing Director, Mrs Stella IGNOUMBA MBANDA , signed an agreement, chaired by the Minister of Social Affairs, Mrs Nadine Nathalie AWANANG épouse ANATO .

The aim of this agreement is to improve the living conditions of vulnerable people, in particular children in social difficulty, especially those living with disabilities. The partnership is designed to provide appropriate socio-educational support for our children, reflecting the government’s determination to guarantee them a better future.

The signing of this agreement presents a number of important challenges:

1. Recognition and legitimacy:

An agreement with the French Ministry of Social Affairs gives the Foundation official recognition for its role and actions. This strengthens its credibility with donors, institutional partners, families and society in general. This is a guarantee of seriousness and compliance with standards and requirements for the care of children with disabilities.

2. Access to public financing:

In the social and medico-social sector, institutions working on issues of inclusion and care for disabled children can benefit from subsidies or financial aid to support their programs. Such an agreement facilitates access to essential financial resources.

3. Enhancing service quality:

The involvement of the Ministry of Social Affairs in this agreement ensures that the Foundation complies with current norms and standards in the care of disabled children. This ensures a certain quality and consistency in the services offered, and that the actions implemented are in line with public policies on inclusion and the rights of people with disabilities.

The New Horizons Foundation, renowned for its commitment to children with disabilities, is looking forward to renewing its commitment to their education and inclusion this autumn.
